Project Scope: This website was created for Friends of Salcombe Regis Church, a volunteer-run organisation supporting the historic Church of St Mary and St Peter in East Devon.
The design needed to be clear and intuitive — particularly for pre-digital users — while gently evoking the beauty of the local landscape. Using a colour palette inspired by the valley, sea, and stone, the site provides:
- Easy pathways to donate, join, or learn more
- A gentle homepage experience that builds trust
- Pages for news, events, shop, and organisational info
- A simple, mobile-friendly layout with large readable fonts
This is a great example of how a small organisation can create a welcoming online space that serves its community — without overwhelming it.
